Couple of shots I took... the moon looks bright even in partial eclipse because i ramped up exposure to 13 seconds

Last night's sky was so clear... But even so, the city lights glare outshone so many more stars. They should put hoods on lamps, so the light gets directed down and less of the light goes up, wasted into the nightsky.

Stupid freakin' haze

Discolouration of the pupae as it darkens before eclosing into a worker.(The pupae do not have cocoons as some species of ants do not spin them, mine happens to be one)

The invasive ghost ants.

A worker has just eclosed in the bottom left corner of the picture. The ants are "kissing" to transfer liquid food from mouth to mouth. This behavior allows ants to keep their food transfer hygeinic.
